Kindergarten Supply List

  • Large Backpack – please label
  • 10 glue sticks 
  • 2 (4 oz) bottles of Elmer’s glue
  • 2 boxes regular size crayons (8 or 16 count)
  • 2 sets Crayola washable markers
  • 1 set pre-sharpened colored pencils (Not Mrs. Aullman’s or Mrs. Nichols’ classes)
  • 2 containers of disinfectant wipes (to keep us all healthy : )
  • Pencil Box (Only Mrs. Nichols’ & Mrs. Call’s classes)
  • Set of Watercolors (Not Mrs. Nichols’ Class)
  • Afton Elementary will provide water bottles for Kindergarteners

2nd Grade Supply List

Please mark all your supplies with your child’s name

  • Crayons – 24 count
  • (48) #2 wooden yellow pencils
  • 12 Mechanical Pencils  (Mr. Harris’ class only)
  • 1 pencil bag or box
  • 3 spiral notebooks wide ruled
  • Scissors
  • Washable markers
  • 8 glue sticks
  • 1 bottle of school glue
  • Headphones with a straight jack and no elbow-for Computers (no earbuds please)
  • Disinfecting Wipes
  • $6 Cash for a 2nd grade T-shirt
Just a Note about Pencils: The dark orange #2 Sanford Eagle pencils ruin the electric pencil sharpeners, and they break easily. Novelty pencils also ruin the electric pencil sharpeners, so please DO NOT bring pencils with designs on them. Other brands such as TICONDEROGA and PENTECH #2 pencils are great.
